How To Use:

  • Measure the desired amount of Organic Yellow Moong Dal.
  • Rinse the dal under running water to remove any impurities.
  • In a pot, add water in a 1:3 ratio (1 cup dal to 3 cups water) and bring it to a boil.
  • Add the rinsed dal to the boiling water and let it cook on medium heat.
  • Skim off any foam that forms on the surface.
  • Cook until the dal becomes soft and mushy, stirring occasionally.
  • In a separate pan, heat oil or ghee and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, chopped onions, and other spices.
  • Add the cooked dal to the pan, mix well, and simmer for a few minutes.
